The Universal Space Corporate Military has faced a taxing fiscal cycle. Onboard the ship instead are strange organisms, PARASPRITES. In one of these encounters, you can discover another wrecked USCM ship, this one far, far more interesting. Sometimes in space, you can find anomalies, randomly generated missions that require you to fly a mech through them to find whatever is producing the signal. They didn’t abandon them, the guards were overpowered and killed by the prisoners.īut, how did that happen? All of this death? And, Isn’t it odd that all of the skeletons were piled up in one spot? Well, this leads back to the most darning piece of evidence that the USCM died long ago:
Look closely, and you’ll find a massive pile of bones onboard, how could those have gotten there? Well, how else besides them being all that’s left of the crew onboard the ship. But, why would they abandon a ship like this? And why is everything so destroyed? If you look closely while flying through the mech tutorial, you’ll find a USCM sign, which means that the ship used to belong to the them. And, they give you a tutorial to learn how! In the tutorial, you fly through a wrecked ship that works as an obstacle course. In the newest update to starbound, you get to pilot a Mech through space. The second dungeon is much more interesting, and we’ll return to them in a moment. Surprisingly, the only thing you need to keep in mind is how rusty and old everything is. The problem is there’s almost no mention of the USCM left in these prisons, the prisoners have all taken control.
